Cuban in Nebraska shows his spacious apartment and surprises with what he pays in rent: "The best thing is not living in Miami."

Cuban in Nebraska shows his apartment and reveals that he pays a rent of only 800 dollars a month.

A Cuban residing in the city of Lincoln, Nebraska, has shared a "house tour" on TikTok of his new apartment after recently moving in, revealing details about the space and the monthly rental cost.

The TikTok user @soy_edgy shows in his video the spacious home he now occupies, highlighting the most important areas, such as a large kitchen and an equally large living room, as well as a considerably spacious bathroom.

"I moved recently. The kitchen is quite large, before I didn't have space to leave things out. The living room is also spacious. The furniture belongs to the person who lived here before, and for now, they will stay because they are very expensive. This is my room; there is another one, but it’s not mine. And this is the bathroom, which is very spacious. I pay 800 dollars a month for this apartment. We live two people, so each of us pays 400. I don't live in Miami or Florida. Would you move to the end of the world, where I live, for such a cheap rent in such a large place, or are you one of those who don't move from Miami?" she explains in her video.

The content has sparked the curiosity of many Cubans, who have shown interest in learning more about life in Nebraska, especially in comparison to the high rents in Miami.

"In which city in Nebraska? I can't take it anymore in Miami, please share information!" commented a user, while others highlighted the differences in prices: "In Miami, 2,500 for two bedrooms and one bathroom," "Congratulations, that's a very good price for that home!" or "I lived in Florida and ran away. Now I've been in Iowa for four months, paying 1,000 for four bedrooms and two bathrooms, super spacious," they commented. Another user added: "And I'm here paying almost 1,600 for a place that is half of all that in Florida."

The difference in the cost of living between states like Nebraska and Florida seems to be motivating more people to consider moving to places where rents are considerably more affordable.
