Is it expensive to live in the USA? A young Latina says you need at least 5,000 dollars to survive.

A young Latina on TikTok complains about the high cost of living in the United States, stating that at least 5,000 dollars a month are needed to survive.

A young Latina named Kandy Aldenn has caused a stir on social media by sharing her dissatisfaction with the lifestyle in the United States on TikTok.

In the video uploaded to her profile called @kandyaldenn, which has already accumulated thousands of views, the user expresses her frustration over what she considers an overwhelming routine and the high costs necessary to live in that country, stating that at least 5,000 dollars a month are required to "survive."

In the clip, which you can see here, the young woman addresses different issues that affect the quality of life in the United States, including the price of housing, insecurity in schools, long work hours, poor food quality, and excessive spending at the supermarket, among others.

"I complain that in this country the daily routine is absolutely the same" and "What good is it for me to retire at 60 with money in the bank if I won't be able to get on a plane anymore," he states in one of the highlights of the video.

In addition, the young woman laments in her video about the amount of money that, according to her, is needed to maintain a basic lifestyle in that country.

"I complain that in this country you need at least 5,000 dollars to survive a month," she states, which has sparked a strong reaction in the comments, where some users share their opinion while others criticize her for her negative outlook.

Among their most notable complaints, insecurity in leaving their children at school stands out, alluding to the increasing cases of violence and the lack of trust in the educational system.

Furthermore, the young woman questions the quality of food, stating that even with a simple purchase at the supermarket, one spends a disproportionate amount of money on products of questionable quality.

This video has generated a great discussion on the platform, where many feel identified with the young woman's complaints, while others defend life in the United States, arguing that the cost of living depends on location and individual priorities.

"If you don't like it, then leave," "You can always go back to your country," or "Deep down, she's right and telling the truth, so don't criticize her so much since in the end, almost all of us think the same," is read in the comments section.

However, the concern about the high cost of living and the perception of a monotonous routine seem to resonate with many people, especially among immigrants who arrive in the country seeking a better quality of life but who face unexpected challenges in adapting to the economic reality.

What do you think?
