The residents of the city of Cárdenas, Matanzas, mourned this Tuesday the passing of one of their most emblematic figures, affectionately known as El Puma.
The news was shared by Christian Arbolaez in the group "Cardenenses en Facebook," where he expressed the sadness that many residents feel over the loss of someone who was considered an icon of the city.
"His name resonated in every corner of our city, and although he may not have been famous outside our environment, for us he was a symbol of joy and authenticity," wrote Arbolaez.
El Puma, always with a smile and a kind word, was part of the soul of Cárdenas, and his departure leaves a void that will be hard to fill: “He walked our streets with that unique aura, infecting those around him with his energy.”
"His stories, his quirks, and his personality will remain in the memory of those who were lucky enough to share moments with him," continued the tribute shared on social media.
Additionally, he sent a message of condolences to his family and friends, expressing: "May they find comfort in the love and affection that El Puma left planted in the lives of all who knew him."
Lastly, he said: "May he rest in peace, knowing that his memory will live on in the hearts of his people, his Cárdenas."
