Cuban actor Lieter Ledesma celebrated this Thursday three years since his wife Laura and his daughter Pao arrived in the United States to reunite after several years of separation.
"Today we celebrate three years together in the US. It has been a beautiful journey of growth and overcoming, of travels and joys dreamed from a distance. We can only express our gratitude. God has been very good," Ledesma wrote on Instagram alongside family photos where they appear happy and united.
The post has been filled with messages of support and congratulations from friends and followers, who have been aware of his family reunification process for years. The Cuban, who managed to bring his family from Cuba in 2021 after a long and complicated consular process, has always expressed his gratitude for being able to be together in the United States.
Almost a year ago, Lieter recalled on his social media how his arrival in the country eight years ago was an event that, in his own words, changed his life and that of his family forever. Now, on this new anniversary, the actor shows how grateful he feels to have the people he loves most by his side and for the opportunity to build a life together.
The story of Lieter and his family has been filled with moments of waiting and sacrifice. At that time, the actor documented how, after several years of separation, he finally managed to reunite with his wife and daughter in Guyana to undergo the consular interview that would allow them the long-awaited reunification. “Bye bye Guyana. On my way home,” he wrote at that time with a picture full of hope.
Today, that effort seems to have been rewarded, and Lieter Ledesma has not hesitated to share it with his followers, who continue to applaud his perseverance and celebrate this family achievement alongside him.
The reasons to celebrate and give thanks are joined by the fact that a few days ago she welcomed her mother. "The boat is full. The big family is complete," she said two days ago on the same network to share her joy with her followers for the new dream fulfilled and the long-awaited family reunion.
