Stunning images of houses covered by a landslide in Imías

A resident in the area showed several belongings of people scattered around the place and a house, of which a piece of the roof can be seen.

A video circulating on social media shows a group of houses in the Guantanamo municipality of Imías that were completely buried after a landslide caused by the heavy rains associated with Hurricane Oscar, which hit that area on October 20.

Although the regime has only confirmed that the cyclone left seven dead in the neighboring municipality of San Antonio del Sur, the images of Imías published on the TikTok page of the user "Alicia Alonso" raise doubts about the official narrative, as the houses are completely under mud and no rescue equipment is visible.

A resident in the area showed several belongings of people scattered around the place and an underground house, of which a piece of the roof can be seen.

A bridge that connected the area can also be distinguished, which was destroyed by the storm that caused unprecedented flooding in the place.

Imías and San Antonio del Sur were cut off until this Thursday after all land access routes were destroyed.

Both municipalities are experiencing a humanitarian crisis, with no water, electricity, or food.
