The price of the euro rises in the Cuban black market

After remaining at 340 CUP for almost three weeks, the European currency has increased in value in the Cuban informal market.


After remaining nearly three weeks pegged at 340 CUP, the euro has increased in price in the Cuban informal market this Monday.

At dawn on this October 28, the European currency is being sold at an average of 345 CUP, five pesos more than its value since October 9.

In the case of the dollar and the freely convertible currency (MLC), both currencies remain at the same exchange rates they have had for several days: 325 for the dollar and 340 for the virtual currency used by the Cuban government in certain designated stores.
