Criticism for La Diosa's gift to Laura's son, Osmani García's wife: "Time for the Cubalse bag."

The Goddess didn't miss the birthday of Laura's son, Osmani García's wife, and her gift was one of the most talked-about topics on Instagram.

Osmani García and his wife Laura celebrated Bryan's birthday, the son of the pastry chef, this weekend. It was a grand party attended by several well-known figures from Cuban music who didn't want to miss the celebration. Among the guests was the singer La Diosa, who arrived bearing gifts for the honoree. However, the Cuban artist's gesture became one of the most talked-about topics on Instagram...

The Goddess shared the moment she gave Bryan a soccer ball, a gift that delighted the boy. However, many users couldn't help but notice that the ball wasn't wrapped and came in a grocery bag, which led to numerous comments.

The messages came pouring in, with several users making detailed critiques: "Hey Goddess, you really went all out; you didn't even use a gift bag. Time for a Cubalse bag, haha," "Target sells gift bags, but we're still sticking with the Cuban way," "Mimi, you went overboard. It looked like you forgot to buy a gift. You got to Target and thought: ‘Look, a ball; come on, let's pay, we're running late.’ A bag? What bag, the same old bag!"

Some users went on to question the gesture with comments such as: "Seriously, a ball in a Target bag?" or "Not even in Cuba would such a trivial thing be given as a gift."

Despite these criticisms, La Diosa also received messages of support:

"Actually, I'm the kind of person who doesn't use gift bags; I think it's a waste of money. They just throw them away or tear them up later. The same goes for gift cards; if I buy them, it's because I'm going to put money inside," "Do you all think the kid is going to care about the bag? Honestly, the criticism is over the top," "If criticism were dollars, we would all be millionaires here! The kid was really happy with his gift," or "This is how Cuban artists should be: united and supporting each other."

"That's why Cubans don't progress; they love to criticize and be superficial. They bring you a gift bag and spend their whole lives talking badly about you and the gift," commented another user.

In response to the negative comments, another follower of La Diosa said: "Some comments are just hilarious, please, haha. What does it matter how she brought it? Even if she had brought it by hand, those who criticize probably wouldn't give anything. Just look at the faces of the child and Osmani when he said: 'Look what your aunt brought you'."

What is clear is that the boy was delighted with his gift, and both Osmani and Laura appreciated La Diosa's thoughtful gesture. "The best gift. Bryan loves soccer. Thank you!" Hours later, Laura shared a video of Bryan playing with his ball, demonstrating that the gift was a complete success.
