Jorge Junior requests DNA tests for El Taiger's children before processing the inheritance.

Jorge Junior has announced that he will request DNA tests for three of the four children of his cousin, the late Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, since they do not share his surname.

Cuban reggaeton artist Jorge Junior has sparked a wave of comments and controversies by sharing on social media, in a now-deleted video, his intention to conduct DNA tests on three of the four children of his cousin and colleague, the late reggaeton artist El Taiger, before proceeding with the legal matters of the inheritance.

In a recently published video, Jorge Junior explained that he has taken on the responsibility of managing the artist's estate, but a question has arisen because three of the children do not carry the musician's surname.

In this way, Jorge Junior wants to ensure that his cousin's legitimate children can receive what is rightfully theirs, stating that he will cover the costs of the DNA tests needed to establish paternity and guarantee that the rightful heirs can access the financial benefits generated by El Taiger's legacy.

"Since José Manuel Carbajar Zaldívar disagreed with two or three birth certificates before he passed away, I will urgently request that a legal process be carried out, including DNA tests for each one. I will cover the costs," the reguetonero stated.

The video has sparked divided opinions among the public, with some supporting the measure as a way to ensure the well-being of the legitimate descendants of the reggaeton artist, while others see it as an unnecessary challenge during a delicate time for the family.
