The details of El Taiger's murder by Damián Valdez-Galloso have sparked great outrage and shock among his fans.
After the Miami Police revealed how the homicide occurred and announced the extradition of Damián Valdez from New York, where he was apprehended, social media erupted.
In the posts of the influencer Un Martí To Durako, many believe that the shooting was premeditated based on how the events unfolded: "This was clearly planned, so it can't be ruled out that they might have paid him to do it too"; "It was all premeditated; this had been in the works among them for days, and Damián had it in mind. Justice for El Taiger"; "I don't even want to mention his name because that man is not worthy of anyone speaking his name. He left children without a father and a grandmother who, despite her memory loss, would want to see her grandson at some point. That man deserves the harshest punishment ever seen, and if he is mistreated, it's what he deserves. He is a man without principles, and as for being a friend, he was never one; he was just the closest person who was going to steal a life."
"Oh my God, how can there be people like this in the world? Even with a life sentence, that man won't pay for what he did." "It was a struggle; he fought for his life until the last moment. May God have him in glory, and may all the weight of the law fall upon Damián." "How inhumane, my God, to keep him in the trunk of the car for so long. Maybe if he had received help earlier, his life could have been saved, and the damage might not have been fatal. That's why every day I trust friends less. Friend and friend, you mother, and a dollar in your pocket—I'm not trusting anyone anymore," others lamented.
According to the police report, José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar arrived at Damián Valdez-Galloso's residence at approximately 5:24 a.m. on October 3. Shortly after entering the house, he shot him in the head, then dragged him by the ankles to a car, cleaned the crime scene, and changed his clothes.
In that same car, he was abandoned near Jackson Memorial Hospital, where the police found him at 6:45 a.m., still alive but in critical condition, just over an hour after the shooting.
Damián Valdez-Galloso appeared for the first time this Thursday in the Miami-Dade criminal court before Judge Mindy S. Glazer, who denied him bail on the second-degree murder charge.
