The FBI alerted on Tuesday that it is searching for two men suspected of having robbed two different banks in Miami-Dade County.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Miami released photographs of an individual who robbed the Truist Bank branch located at 8701 SW 137th Ave., in West Kendall, at approximately 10:39 a.m. this Tuesday.

According to the report from the federal agency, the thief entered the bank and demanded money from an employee. Local media indicated that the amount taken by the suspect has not been disclosed.

Authorities stated that no injuries were reported during the robbery and urged anyone with information about the incident or who recognizes the suspect to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

In the footage captured by the bank's surveillance cameras, a middle-aged man can be seen wearing glasses, a blue sweater with the white logo of the United States Air Force, and a black fanny pack slung across his chest. The individual has tattoos on his arms, hands, and neck.

Earlier on Tuesday, the FBI shared a photograph on social media of a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred in western Miami-Dade last weekend.

Authorities reported that the robbery occurred around 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Chase Bank located at 9501 W. Flagler St., in the unincorporated area of Fontainebleau.

"The thief entered the bank and demanded money from an employee. There were no injuries," stated an FBI spokesperson in Miami in an email statement to Local10 News.

The photo shows the suspect wearing a black hoodie from "Sniper Gang," a cap, and a black mask.

Officials are asking anyone with information about the person captured by the cameras to call the FBI at 1-800-225-5324.

In mid-2023, a man from Hialeah was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for the armed robbery of a bank in 2019, from which he escaped with over $30,000.
