"Luz del Infinito" is the name of the beautiful crown that the new Miss Universe 2024 will wear. Who will be the chosen one? That's something we will find out on November 16.
The jewel was unveiled on Wednesday to all the young women who aspire to wear it with pride, in a ceremony attended by Nicaraguan Sheynnis Palacios, the current Miss Universe, Anne Jakrajutatip, the executive director of JKN Global Group Public Limited which owns the organization, and Raúl Rocha, businessman and president of the franchise.
According to Osmel Souza, "The King of Beauty," the crown is the most beautiful in the history of this international competition.
According to the official Miss Universe Instagram profile, the crown, crafted by the firm Jewelmer, is “a majestic tribute to life and its universal elements. The diamond-encrusted rays reflect the light and fire that emanate from the sun. The diamond earrings and rich gold evoke the sea foam meeting the shores and the air blowing over the waves. The golden pearls from the South Sea suggest the sphere of the Earth, radiating beauty from the ocean, our source of life, to the whispers and promises of the universe and its infinite beyond.”
According to Hola magazine, Jacques Christophe Branellec, the jeweler from Jewelmer, revealed that the crown is made with the rare golden South Sea pearl, the national gem of the Philippines that defines the collections of this jewelry house: “It is a unique creation, handcrafted by Filipino artisans using traditional techniques.”
Marianela Ancheta, the candidate representing Cuba in this 73rd edition of Miss Universe, shared images from the crown presentation ceremony on her Instagram, marking the first participation from the country in this beauty contest after 57 years.
Next Saturday, at the gala taking place at Arena Ciudad de México, it will finally be revealed which of the 127 candidates will be the new Miss Universe 2024.
