The host of the Cuban television program “Mediodía en TV,” Marino Luzardo, is on vacation in Spain, a country from which he has shared images of his travels and experiences on his social media.
"I am still enjoying my vacation and wishing everyone a lovely weekend. See you all soon!" said the popular host in an Instagram post where he shared photos from his stay in Málaga.
Among the places visited by Luzardo during his journey was the famous Málaga restaurant 'El Pimpi', a winery with over 40 years of tradition that ranked second in 2023 on the Tripadvisor list of the most beautiful restaurants in Spain. The Spanish writer Manuel Alcántara referred to it as "The Sistine Chapel of Málaga."
What sets it apart are the wine and its unique barrels, signed by all the famous personalities who have visited the winery, such as Sean Connery, Tony Blair, the Duchess of Alba, Carmen Thyssen, and Antonio Banderas, among others. In terms of standout dishes, the "pringá del Pimpi" is particularly noteworthy. It is a delicious stew made with pork, chorizo, and blood sausage, slow-cooked to perfection.
Luzardo also visited the Revello de Toro Museum, an art gallery in Málaga located in the historic center of the city, dedicated to the Málaga painter Félix Revello de Toro, as well as the city park.
Amidst advertisements for passenger transport companies and shipping services to Cuba from the United States, the popular host has shared several images on his Instagram from his stay in Spain, on a vacation that has now lasted over three weeks.
Neither the Dana in Valencia nor the one that recently struck Málaga, among other locations, received the slightest mention on the social media of the presenter from the Cuban state television, who has subliminally used both disasters to contrast their destructive power with that of the atmospheric and geological phenomena that recently affected Cuba.
In January, Luzardo shared a reflection that was circulating on social media about the harsh reality being experienced in the country. Agreeing with the author, the host questioned whether the sacrifices being made on the island were worthwhile.
“We continue in eternal sacrifice, and I still find myself wondering, at what cost?” wrote Marino in support of a post by journalist Liudmila Peña Herrera.
