"339 dollars and without buying meat! Cuban woman erupts over Costco prices."

"There's no meat here, not even a hash; I was left stunned."

A Cuban woman living in the United States vented on TikTok about her frustration with the high prices at Costco. In a recently shared video, she displayed her receipt for $339.15 and detailed her purchases, pointing out that most of them were hygiene products and some food items.

Rosmy, known on TikTok as @rosmy_f4, listed in her video the 23 items she purchased: paper towels, detergents, Ziploc bags, rice, some chicken wings, tortillas, and mortadela, among others. However, she was surprised that the total added up to so much and that it wasn’t enough for real food.

"Trump needs to start seeing if we can improve because where are we headed, my God?" she said at the end, sparking a heated debate in the comments.

Some understood his frustration: "We're all in the same boat, food prices are through the roof." Others, however, were quick to criticize: "Do you really think Trump is going to fix prices? What a joke!"

Some advised him to change stores: "Aldi exists, sir. At Costco, you only buy water and paper towels," while others defended the chain, highlighting the quality and long-term savings: "It's expensive, but if you do the math, you spend double at other markets."

The debate intensified when political topics were brought up. Some questioned whether any president, including Trump, could solve the issue of pricing. "Trump will fix everything... but only for himself," one user sarcastically remarked. Meanwhile, others pointed out that the high cost of living is not exclusive to Costco or the United States.

Rosmy's video not only revealed her experience but also echoed the sentiments of many regarding the impact of prices. What about you? Is Costco expensive, or are we facing a global issue?
