The criticism that the French fashion house Louis Vuitton has received for featuring Ana de Armas as its image, following the scandal surrounding her romantic involvement with Manuel Anido Cuesta, apparently has not affected its good relations.
After a prolonged silence on Instagram, the Cuban actress reappeared this Thursday to showcase the gift she received from Louis Vuitton for Christmas.
In her Instagram stories, the artist showcased the gift bag along with her gratitude to the luxury brand for this thoughtful gesture.
To leave no doubt that she is the intended recipient, she photographed the card that accompanies the gift, which reads: "Madame Ana de Armas."
Since the romantic relationship between the actress and the advisor and stepson of Cuban leader Miguel Díaz-Canel became public, the French brand has faced considerable criticism from Cubans for having Ana de Armas as its representative. Therefore, the artist's recent post could be interpreted as a clear subtle response to these criticisms.
Recently, Taty Guiribitey, one of Louis Vuitton's top clients, sent a protest letter stating that she would no longer purchase their products if they continued to use the star of Blonde as their brand ambassador.
