The Cuban former baseball player Maikel Hidalgo Reyes suffered a brutal attack that left him with injuries requiring hospitalization.

"The person who sent me the photos is a personal friend, Adrián, and he kindly asked me to share them so that those close to Maikel can learn about his situation and assist him during this process. As we all know, the issue of medication in Cuba is quite complicated at the moment," Porto specified.

"Stay strong, my friend, one of those I appreciate the most from the Metros group. You are going to get through this and keep moving forward.
