A man was found dead this noon on Acosta Avenue, at the intersection with José de la Luz y Caballero Street, near Mónaco, in the 10 de Octubre municipality. The body, which had a stab wound to the chest, was sitting in an armchair placed in front of a pharmacy, according to eyewitnesses.

Neighbors in the area shared details on social media. One of them commented, "That happened just around the corner from my house; he was stabbed in the chest. That armchair wasn’t there; it was at the corner of Luz and Caballero and Acosta, which a man had thrown out. They moved the armchair almost right in front of the pharmacy. They stabbed him and left him sitting there. He looks to be about 50 years old, and nobody in the neighborhood knows him."

Another neighbor described the conditions of the area, highlighting the insecurity that characterizes the zone at night: "Acosta Avenue is very lonely at night, and everyone stays indoors. It was at the door of the pharmacy, which is usually dark, and on the other corner is the old house of the late Elio Revé, which, although it provides some light from its entrance, is also shadowy. I am truly very impressed."

Experts in forensic science and officials from the Technical Investigations Department (DTI) are currently on-site conducting investigations to clarify the events. So far, the identity of the victim and the specific circumstances of the incident have not been disclosed.

So far, the identity of the victim has not been disclosed, nor have details about the circumstances of the event been revealed. The authorities have not released any official information regarding the incident.
