The charitable initiative "Huellas" embarks on a new mission filled with love and hope for the most in-need families in Guantánamo.

With the aim of providing a special end of the year for those who have lost everything, including their loved ones, the team left from the Luyanó Workshops with donations filled with solidarity and collective effort, according to a Facebook post by Johanna Jolá Álvarez, the project leader.

In the post, Jolá Álvarez stated that this initiative would not have been possible without the support of transporters, volunteers, and collaborators such as Minister Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila, Liliana from "Desafío," and drivers Bobi and Ernesto, among others, who came together to ensure that each donation reaches the families in Guantánamo.

"Huellas" also expresses gratitude for the contribution of Correos de Cuba, whose employees enthusiastically joined the cause, as well as to the generous individuals both on the island and abroad, from Mexico to Germany, who sent donations in support of the noble purpose of this project.

The team acknowledges the fundamental role of the transportation sector in bringing hope and excitement to the most remote corners of the country, emphasizing the importance of supporting its development as an essential part of Cuba's social and economic well-being.

In October, the initiative sent a total of 300 boxes with donations for those affected in Guantánamo following Hurricane Oscar.

With this action, "Huellas," which just a few days ago celebrated Christmas at the San José Home for Children in Centro Habana, reaffirms that these are "times to love," bringing a message of unity and hope during this festive season.
