Five motorcycles were completely destroyed and two were damaged after a fire affected the parking area of the “Mariana Grajales” Gyneco-Obstetric Hospital in Santa Clara, in the province of Villa Clara, on Monday morning. No loss of life or injuries have been reported.
According to Dr. Juan José Pulido López, the Director General of Health in Villa Clara, four mopeds were unaffected. Additionally, the parking lot roof was damaged.
For his part, the official communicator Henry Omar Pérez reported that the fire was quickly brought under control thanks to the joint intervention of the Ministry of the Interior and the Fire Department of Santa Clara.
In his report, he added that an internal combustion engine was also damaged.
