Solidarity Continues: More Barbers from Florida Support Cuban Boy Barber with Tools

Barbers from Florida donated tools to the Cuban boy barber Christian, strengthening his efforts to help his family and pursue his passion for hairdressing.

Solidarity with Christian, the 14-year-old Cuban boy barber who works in Bayamo, Granma, to help his family, continues to grow and has inspired widespread support from the international community.

This Tuesday, the Cuban Eliecer Almenares, from Fort Myers, Florida, shared a video on Facebook in which he expresses gratitude for a new donation of tools for Christian, made by colleagues from the H&M barbershop.

In the video, Almenares emphasized the gesture of his friend Harold and other barbers of Cuban origin, who provided a set of completely new cutting tools: a shaver, a trimmer, blades, sponges, aprons, and other essential accessories for the young hairdresser.

“Christian, they are sending you machines, blades, and an apron directly from the H&M barbershop," Almenares stated, showing the items intended for the boy.

The collaborators, identified as barbers from Havana and Villa Clara, expressed their excitement in contributing to the dream of a child from the city of Bayamo, who has inspired many with his passion for hairdressing despite the economic challenges in Cuba.

Almenares concluded the video by stating that if more donations arise, they will also be sent to Christian.

This gesture reinforces the positive impact of the Cuban community in Florida, which has consistently responded with support to promote the aspirations of this talented child.

Christian's story remains an example of how small acts of solidarity can make a significant difference and highlight the bonds of brotherhood among Cubans both on the island and abroad.

During a recent visit to the city of Bayamo, Almenares shared on social media the story of the barber boy who, since the age of 12, has been working to support his family's economy.

The activist emphasized that Christian works at a small makeshift booth in his neighborhood, where he offers haircuts and shaves at very affordable prices.

Despite his limited resources, Christian shows an unwavering effort to move forward amidst the challenging economic situation in Cuba.

His story inspired a first donation: workers from the Adonay 01 Barber Shop in Miami, sent a toolbox to the young barber who works on the streets of Bayamo.
