27N is a group of artists, intellectuals, filmmakers, creators, activists, and independent journalists who demand respect for freedom of expression and an end to censorship and harassment of representatives of the arts and those with differing opinions in Cuba.
The name emerged from the massive gathering that took place outside the Ministry of Culture of Cuba on November 27, 2020, in response to the escalating repression against artists in Cuba and to demand the right to freedom of expression.
Víctor Alfonso Cedeño, creator of Yesapín García, has passed away in Miami.
