27N

27N is a group of artists, intellectuals, filmmakers, creators, activists, and independent journalists who demand respect for freedom of expression and the cessation of censorship and harassment of representatives of art and individuals with differing opinions in Cuba.

The name arose from the massive gathering that took place outside the Ministry of Culture of Cuba on November 27, 2020, in response to the escalating repression against artists in Cuba and to demand the right to freedom of expression.
