Preparation Time:
30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 250 grams of ground beef
- 250 grams of ground pork
- 250 grams of ground ham
- ½ cup of chopped potato
- ½ cup of finely chopped carrot
- ¾ cup of capers
- 1 large onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ½ cup of tomato sauce
- ¼ cup of dry wine
- ½ cup of olives
- ½ cup of raisins
- ½ teaspoon of sugar
- ¼ cup of oil
Instructions:
Heat the oil and lightly sauté the crushed garlic, onion, and chopped peppers. Add the meats and ham, cooking everything for 10 minutes while stirring to prevent sticking and ensure thorough mixing. Then, add the chopped olives and the remaining ingredients, and let it cook for 20 minutes over medium heat. If it tends to dry out, add a little water, ensuring it maintains its consistency. Alternatively, you can use a few tablespoons of sweet orange juice instead of water, which helps the vegetables better absorb the overall flavor.
This dish pairs well with white rice, fried ripe plantains, and a salad of lettuce and watercress.
