Puerto Ricans brought the Latin flavor to the American music festival.

Puerto Rican artists Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi and the model Zuleyka Rivera, raised the temperature of the stage at Madison Square Garden in New York during the last 2018 Grammy Awards Gala.

The Puerto Ricans performed the mega hit during the ceremony Slowly, putting the Latin stamp on the great American music festival.

Zuleyka, star of the single's video clip, danced again for her performers dressed in a sexy golden outfit with transparencies and moved her hips as she did in her day for the filming of the famous audiovisual.

The version of the theme recorded with Canadian singer Justin Bieber was nominated under the category of best recording, best pop song or performance by a duo or group.

However, Slowly lost the award to That's what I like of the North American Bruno Mars, who swept and took home for other candidates, the six Grammys which he opted for.

Even so, the success of the Puerto Ricans made the Caribbean feeling come to the surface during an evening in which music in English was the total protagonist.

"We are not leaving empty-handed tonight. Breaking the language barrier and uniting the world with a song is the best prize one can win. Let's continue sharing our culture and our Latin music with the entire world. Thank you for supporting us, this It's just the beginning," Fonsi wrote.
