Rey Vicente Anglada and Carlos Tabares could join forces in favor of the capital and lead the Industriales for the next National Baseball Series in its 58th edition, according to a source told the newspaper.Rebel Youth.
The government's plans in the capital were for Víctor Mesa to lead the Industriales team, at least, for one more season. However, Mesa resigned from the position last week, alleging inRadio Rebelde a dispute of interests with the National Baseball Commission, without mixing the immigration process of his children who abandoned Cuban baseball.
After the news of Víctor Mesa, the candidates have emerged. Boris Luis Cabrera, writer ofHavana Tribune mentions Guillermo Carmona, Lázaro de La Torre, Rey Anglada and Carlos Tabares.
Anglada declared in the past that he would never lead the Industriales team again. Tabares alleged in a recent interview with Jorge Ebro of theNew Herald that he would study for a while and prepare to be a future manager. Now, everyone wants or accepts being an Industrial manager. Who does not?
However, the option of Anglada and Tabares taking the reins of the team with equal powers seems tempting, at least now that Cuban baseball lives off the news that generates this type of morbid situations.
What do you think?
