MEXICO CITY, June 14 (Reuters) - The governments of Mexico and Honduras agreed on Friday to join forces to address irregular migration and prosecute the crimes of human trafficking and migrant smuggling, they said in a joint statement.
The announcement comes a week after Mexico and the United States reached an agreement to reduce the flow of migrants who escape poverty and violence in Central America and, crossing Mexico, arrive in the United States in search of a better future.
