Gustavo Trujillo: "I dedicate my career and all my strength to every oppressed Cuban"

The fighterGustavo Trujillo, known as The Cuban Assassin, affirmed this Thursday that his career and all his forces are dedicated to every oppressed Cuban on the island.

"My fight, my career and all my strength was dedicated to every oppressed Cuban, lacking freedom, who has suffered the repression of the hostile and totalitarian Regime," he stated on his Facebook wall.

"We are all Cubans, no matter where we are, our Island is ours and belongs to us because our heart is there. Freedom for Cuba and Freedom for all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience!!", he expressed, before thanking the television channel for an interview. Martí Radio and Television news.

The journalist Ricardo Quintana made a review of the life of Trujillo, who is a native of Ciego de Ávila, and in his statements he affirms that his aspiration is to know a "free Cuba."

In December 2020, the boxer came out to the ring with the phrase "Díaz-Canel singaoooo!!!" on his shirt, before starting a fight during Bare Knuckle Fighting in Fort Lauderdale.
