The Cuban singer Camila Cabello will receive the special prize Agent of Change on the 20th anniversary of the Youth Awards, for their commitment to the upliftment of young people around the world.
"The superstar of Cuban-Mexican roots Camila Cabello will be recognized in Youth Awards as an Agent of Change for his philanthropic work towards the betterment of youth around the world," the awards reported on their digital platforms.
"They are dedication and commitment to various causes They have turned it into a real inspiration for millions of people", highlighted a statement of Premios Juventud cited by Univision. "Camila has been a active force in various philanthropic organizations, leaving a significant mark on each of them.”
According to the publication, one of the most notable projects in which the Cuban artist has been involved is "in This Is About Humanity, an organization that provides humanitarian support on both sides of the US-Mexico border."
He has also collaborated with Protect Our Kids Fund, in association with Lambda Legal and Equality Florida. Camila joined the fight to protect LGBTQ+ students and their families from the Florida law known as Don't Say Gay, points out the note.
Likewise, she has contributed to the work of the organization Save The Children, using "her influence and talent to raise awareness about gender equality, the importance of early education and emergency response."

In this edition of the Juventud Awards they will also be recognized as Agents of Change Shakira, Amaia Molina, Luna Aponte and Emmanuel Estuardo for their outstanding philanthropic work. The award ceremony will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico next Thursday.

Camila Cabello competes in three categories of the Premios Juventud 2023: Best Pop Album, with his disk Family, and Pop Track of the Year together with the Colombian Camilo, for the topic "Ambulance".
Furthermore, for her talent and dedication in music, the singer is nominated in the category Female Youth Awards Artist, a recognition that shows its influence and popularity among young audiences.
Among the nominated Cuban artists is also Local People, as Favorite Group or Duo of the Year and in the category Tropical Mix, by "It's me", his collaboration with Don Omar and Wisin.

Debuts as candidate for award in this edition Aymée Nuviola, who together with the Spanish Melendi aspires to win in the category Tropical Mix with the moving theme "Bread for Yolanda".
