Two Cuban artists have been nominated for the 36th edition of the Lo Nuestro Awards 2024: Aymée Nuviola and Camila Cabello.
Among the 38 categories in which they compete on this occasion, Aymée Nuviola was among those selected to opt for the award of Artist of the Year – Tropical.
Grateful for this nomination, the interpreter wrote on her Instagram: “My divine hunters! Glory to God for this nomination for Premios Lo Nuestro. I feel honored and privileged to be nominated in the Artist of the Year – Tropical category. It's not just the nomination, it's the luminary of stars alongside whom I have been nominated, and to whom I extend congratulations. “This means for me to represent the fighting Cuban women who give their best every day.”
Competing alongside the artist in this section are Carlos Vives, Juan Luis Guerra, Luis Figueroa, Marc Anthony, Olga Tañón, Prince Royce, Romeo Santos, Silvestre Dangond and Víctor Manuelle.
Camila Cabello took home two nominations with his liked collaboration “Ambulance” with Camilo.
The singers appear in the categories “Song of the Year” and “Collaboration of the Year – Tropical”.
The awards gala for this 36th edition of Premios Lo Nuestro will take place on Next February 22 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
Last year Camila Cabello also won two mentions, one for Female Pop Artist of the Year and another in the Perfect Mix of the Year section.
At the gala for that awards ceremony, Aymée Nuviola was one of the invited artists and Together with Melendi he sang "Pan para Yolanda".
