HeFidel Castro Ruz Centeroffers "summer courses" for children, in an effort to indoctrinate the little ones so that they can immerse themselves in the life of the dictator who remained in power in Cuba for more than half a century.
At the center's headquarters, in Vedado, in a luxurious restored mansion at the intersections of Paseo and 11 streets, Cuban children receive workshops and activities related to Castro.
Inside of thetaller "The forging of a leader" visited the Office of Historical Affairs of the Presidency of the Republic of Cuba and learned about "the history of the property, the creation of the office and some of the documents that are preserved."
In theactivity"The Fidel that they know", the little ones had to draw the dictator in the workshop conducted by Casa Editora Abril and through magazinesZunzún, PioneerandChamaquili "they deepened their knowledge."
In the midst of indoctrination activities, children are attracted withmusic, circusand presentations that aim to entertain them while they are inundated with information about the late ruler.
Many parents, in a hot summer with few entertainment options for children and with very high prices at amusement parks, chose to enroll their children in the workshops promoted as part of the 97th anniversary of Castro's birth.
"Excellent, a great moment of joy and distraction for the little ones and those of us who are no longer, but who still laugh out loud at the pranks. I loved it. Thanks to all the organizers and the people who are responsible for this brilliant idea" said one Internet user.
In November 2021, the Cuban regime inaugurated theFidel Castro Ruz Center, five years after the death of the politician.
The institution was authorized on an exceptional basis by Law 123 of the National Assembly of People's Power of 2016 “On the use of the name and figure of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz”, even though he had expressed the desire that his name not appear in anything after his death.
The purpose was only one: to promote the study and dissemination of his thought and work.
