A car was consumed by a fire on Saturday on Boyeros Avenue, in Havana.
According to the report of user Daumier Mejías, in the popular Facebook group “BUS & TRUCK ACCIDENTS for more experience and fewer victims!”, the accident took place specifically near the Río Cristal district before reaching Fontanar.
There have been no reports of possible victims or causes of the accident.
The poor quality of fuel, mechanical and electrical failures and the lack of fire extinguishers have led to this type of accident, which is increasingly common on the island.
In September,A car caught fire on the corner of 9th and F., in Havana's Vedado.
In August,Another fire consumed a car on the 10 de Octubre road near the corner of Concepción Street.
In July,A car caught fire at the traffic light on Calzada Diez de Octubre and Lacret, and the car burned almost completely due to mechanical failure and the delay of the firefighters.
