Willy Chirino offered this weekenda concert that went down in history at the James L Knight Center in Miami.
To all his friends and the public who accompanied him in thiscelebration for his 50 years of artistic career, the musician dedicated a few words on his social networks.
“My heart is full of gratitude for so many friends who came to share the stage with me. In addition to my incredible musicians, my sound engineers, and especially Gonzalo Rodríguez, the architect of all this, concert concept, lighting and screen design and many more things to write about. Without him this would not have been possible,” Willy began by saying in his text.
“Thank you Gilberto, Aymée, G. Rubalcaba, Haydée, Dayana, Carlos, Chacal, Nesty, Alfredito, Javier, Waldy, Alain, mine, Jesse and Lissette for making Saturday night unforgettable for me (…) and finally ,thanks to that audience that filled the JLKC with so much applause and so much affection. “Blessed and grateful,” added the artist.
In the publications on Instagram Willy Chirino shared photos of the concert with several of the colleagues who accompanied him and also his wife Lissette.
One of those who did not miss the opportunity to thank Willy for his invitation was Haydée Milanés. On stage they both sang “A Day in April.” “Willy's musical greatness never ceases to amaze me., its versatility, its simplicity, but above all its big heart. “What a beautiful moment we have shared!” wrote the singer on her Instagram.
Miss Dayana also sang another of her hits “Gitanilla” with the salsa singer;excited and super proud to have shared the stage with Willy He uploaded a video to his networks that will always remain in his memory.
