Dayana Chávez Victoria, better known as Señorita Dayana, is a well-known and popular urban music singer in Cuba. She is also a songwriter, dancer, and choreographer. She was born in Las Tunas, Cuba, on January 13, 1984.
She graduated from the National School of Art (ENA) as a musical show dancer. She has been part of several groups as both a dancer and a singer. Throughout her time on Cuban stages, she has collaborated with renowned singers such as María Antonieta, Zenaida Armenteros, Mayda Mitchel, Héctor Téllez, among others.
In 2015, she released her first CD-DVD album, "De ida y vuelta," for which she is the author of 8 of the 15 tracks, under the record label Ahí Namá Music. This album was nominated for the Cubadisco 2015 in the Pop category.
Her collaborations with the leading figures of the urban genre on the island have catapulted her to fame and international recognition, securing top positions in Cuba and Puerto Rico while enjoying great popularity among the Latino audience in Miami. She was warmly received at the Miami Beach Event (April 2019), where she had the opportunity to share the stage with Gente de Zona, Carlos Vives, Anuel AA, Frruko, among others.
Miss Dayana has become the only female urban music singer to reach the top of Cuban radio stations for several consecutive weeks.
Some of his most important collaborations include "El mentiroso" alongside El Chacal (2015), with whom he would later reunite to record "Tropical," as well as the rendition of "Si Piensas, Si Quieres," originally by Brazilian artist Roberto Carlos and popularized by Rocío Dúrcal. The track "Soltera" featuring Príncipe (2016) topped the charts on the island, reaching number one on 95.7 Cubaton y Más in Miami. Other extremely popular songs include the remix of "Ojalá" with Jacob Forever, "Beso de tu boca" featuring Yakarta, and "No volveré" (2020), which features collaborations with Cuban urban singers Lenier, Yomil, El Dany, Chacal, and El Micha.
In 2017, the artist was involved in an incident on a Miami television show when she left the set after several hosts asked her to comment on the policies of the Cuban government.
In January 2021, he announced the release of his latest music project, "Por ellas," an album that features 12 popular songs performed by prominent female artists such as Rocío Dúrcal, Puerto Rican singer India, Mexican artist Alejandra Guzmán, and Chilean Miriam Hernández.
