A mother was moved after the Cuban YouTuber known for his channel "Vámonos con Juanka" gave candy to her children and other children who were sitting in Alameda de Paula, in Old Havana.
"Are you happy as a mother?"The YouTuber asked after seeing the expression on the woman's face, who was sitting with her children and other children in the place.
The woman nodded her head and answered: "Yes, for...."and she was unable to speak a word because an emotion invaded her that almost brought her to tears.
The event, which occurred in January following the celebration of Three Kings' Day, reaffirms that the high prices of candy and toys in Cuba continue to be a sensitive issue among Cuban parents.
The gesture is indicative of a feeling ofthe marked frustration that invades many Cuban mothers and fathers throughout the country at the impossibility of buying their children something as simple as candy and jams, because the money is not enough for them., even to cover other more basic needs that minors have, specifically food and clothing.
In recent years there have been several reproaches on social networks from parents who are sad and at the same time outraged for not being able to satisfy such a simple desire in their children as tasting some candy or cookies from time to time.
