"It's a little expensive for just one person, but we can all do it. If you're going to help me, write to me so I can give you the contact information of who can be in charge of buying it. I trust her..." he explained.

This mother has other problems, since the father of her children has been in prison for a year, serving a 13-year sentence. The marriage was dissolved and she went to live with her parents.

The baby started having seizures in June. On November 15, her mother had to go out with her to the road to wait for a car to help them. It took a while to get to the polyclinic and that endangered the life of the girl, who arrived with a low pulse and little breathing.

"Now the government has to give me a home near the hospital or polyclinic, and I have to furnish and look for the things inside the house, with air conditioning and an electric plant, because here in Cuba blackouts are very common," he explained.
