"They have seen her," says brother of young Cuban woman missing since December

Yoandri Marín, brother of Karildi Marín, a 24-year-old young man who He has been missing since December 14, announced this Monday that he has received reports that his sister has been seen in areas of Central Havana.

“I received information that my sister Karildi Marin has been seen in the area between the corner of Ánimas and Belascoaín and in the surrounding area, say Galiano and Virtudes and along San Rafael Boulevard. “I strongly ask for everyone's help to see if we find her,” he wrote as a young man in a Facebook post this Monday.

Yoandri Marín noted thatYour sister may no longer look like the photos that have been released of her.

“According to what they tell me, she is very skinny and disoriented.”added the young man, who left the detailed description of Karildi's tattoos, which can help to better identify her.

Karildi Marín has several tattoos on her arms and one on her lower back.

“Please, if you see her, call me at 54291630 and if possible take a photo of her or hold her hand, the family will be nearby looking... Together we can find her.”, added the young man.

“Please share in all the groups that are from Havana and among your friends who live near that area. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us,” he concluded.

In the comments section, dozens of people were hopeful that the young woman would finally appear.

Some anticipate that she may have been a victim of chemical drugs in recent months and regret that those who have seen her have not taken at least a photo of her or immediately called the family.

Last February 14Two months have passed since the disappearance of the young Cuban, who is the mother of a little girl who turned her first year of life in the absence of her mother.

On December 14, 2023, the young woman, who lives in Párraga, in the Arroyo Naranjo municipality of Havana, went to a party in Cerro and her family never heard from her again.

There have been several times that Yoandri Marín has received reports from people who claim to have seen his sister.

Last month Yoandri Marín shared a photo that was sent to him of a young woman who had been seen in Naranjito and Diez de Octubre, but clarified that although she had a certain physical resemblance, it was not Karildi.

On several occasions since the announcement of the disappearance, Yoandri Marín has reiterated that the family will not give up in its efforts to search for the young woman and have even speculated about the possibility that Karildi is being held by someone against her will.
