Daddy Yankee is back in music. It was at the end of last year when the Puerto Rican artist announced in the last concert of his career that he was going to dedicate himself to Jesus Christ, and that is how it is. In addition to seeing him at religious events and publications focused on his faith, the famous reggaeton player has just returned to music with "Blood donor", a song to preach the word of the Lord.
The date chosen for this launch was none other than Good Friday, "the most important day in the history of humanity", as noted in the Instagram post announcing this premiere.
"Family, I told you a few days ago... I always dreamed of making a musical release on the most important day in the history of humanity. Thank you God for granting me the opportunity to honor you in front of the world. Amen!"wrote the Puerto Rican singer, whose real name is Raymond Ayala.
"John's voice rose in the desert, mine in this last revival announcing Christ and his gospel, who is going to stop me so that he can catch the wind with his hands," sings Daddy Yankee.
In this way, Daddy Yankee fulfills what he announced in his farewell to the stage.
"A story is over and a new story is going to begin, a new beginning. All the tools I have in my possession, such as music, social networks, platforms, a microphone", he said in December of last year, thus joining other urban artists who have followed this path. That is the case of Farruko or Héctor El Father.
