Cuban mother requests humanitarian visa to cure her son with leukemia

A Cuban mother is asking for a humanitarian visa to be able to take her three-year-old son out of the country, who needs a bone marrow transplant and in Cuba there are no resources to do it.

The minor has a reserved prognosis and is only receiving the treatment available at the institution, but not what he needs.

The little boy's name is Harold Varga Cabrera and he suffers from acute myeloblastic leukemia, an adult leukemia.

According to his mother, in Cuba there are not even reagents to perform the test that determines if the patient is compatible with a donor.

His testimony was broadcast by journalist Javier Díaz, fromUnivision 23.

"I ask whoever may be interested to please help me with my child," Elena pleaded.
