A young Cuban woman went viral with a video giving controversial reasons why women should not marry men of Cuban nationality, saying that they are stingy, unfaithful and lazy. A controversial opinion that has left more than one with their mouths open due to the way in which it has been generalized.
"Cubans are too unfaithful. They may bring their lover into the house"says user @lacubanaenusa in part of the video.
"The Cuban will always prefer his mother over his wife and children. If your husband is Cuban, it is normal that he does not cook and does not help around the house, because the majority are like that. If you marry a Cuban, forget about the details, because they are not detail-oriented one bit.", he adds.
The woman who made these controversial statements on TikTok identifies herself as @lacubanaenusa on the social network. And as might be expected, These statements have raised blisters among the Cuban community on the platform, where they have left comments like:
"You haven't met a Cuban yet or someone gave it to you with malice", "My dear, I'm sorry that you have this opinion of us, you should investigate Cubans a little more thoroughly", "Mommy, what you say doesn't speak bad for the Cubans, it speaks of the level of stupidity you manage when choosing, good luck to the other," "I honestly think you are not talking about Cubans, we are the complete opposite" or "You had bad luck, friend."
These opinions expressed in the video are personal and hundreds of people have responded with indignation to this young woman's words.
