Cuban government spends thousands of dollars on drone show at Tourism Fair

The Cuban regime would have invested thousands of dollars in a drone show to inaugurate the FITCuba-2024 Tourism Fair in the northern keys of Ciego de Ávila.

The fair, the most important event of this sector on the island, but the lavish inauguration contrasts with the serious general crisis on the island, where thousands of mothers lack housing and food for their children.

The regime claims that it is a "propitious opportunity to outline new strategies, joint businesses and learn about Cuban history, culture and traditions," when it tries to attract more than 3 million tourists this year.

The Cuban bet is focused on attracting Russian nationals to the island.
