They ask for help for the Promise Payer in the Granma province

Users on social networks request help to Omar Quintero, known as the Promise Payer, who Last March he began a new pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Charity of El Cobre with an offering for the Patroness of Cuba.

In 2022, Omar became well known in the country for his promise to walk from Havana to El Cobre, in Santiago de Cuba, to ask the saint to save her son who was sick with cancer.

He recently decided to return to the road, however, users on social networks, such as Luis Emilio Concepción Chacón, warned that on this occasion the Promise Payer does not have the company and popular support.

This person reported in that on May 1st he met Omar, arriving alone in Sabanilla, on the Bayamo highway, and concerned about his situation, he asked for help on social networks urging that they accompany him and help him.

“No one remembers this man, the Promise Payer, who is currently arriving on the Bayamo highway and no one accompanies him, please help him,” said Concepción.

The same situation was pointed out by Alexis Hernández Rosabal in the Facebook group “Characters by Palma Soriano (Alexis group)”, who warned on May 2 that "this time he is seen alone walking along the Central Highway."
