TikTok user Marta (@by.martao) has spoken about the reality of living in Miami. Although many people can imagine what it is like to live in the City of the Sun, this young Spanish woman wanted to share some aspects that no one told her before moving to this area of the United States.
Given the comments she has received from people who want to move to Miami, Marta has made this video in which she tells "what people never told her and that was a bit of a shock." In addition to the good weather in the South Florida area, it stands out that the food is not as good as in Spain or even Europe.
"Little is said about the food in Miami, here you don't eat as well as in Spain or Europe. No comparison. This leads me to the high prices that are not worth it. Another thing that drives me crazy is the price of houses. You go to any other state and they are worth a quarter of it," comments the tiktoker in this video that exceeds 600 thousand views on the social network.
In the video, he also talked about other aspects of the entire United States, not just Miami, such as health and weapons.
"The tropical fauna that we have here such as peacocks, iguanas, crocodiles, snakes in the pools and mosquitoes", he said in another part of the video.
"Although this happens in other parts of the world: people are quite taken advantage of. They are there for the good, but for the bad they look the other way. Here the theme of materialism is very intense. And be careful with the people around you, because there are many people with a lot of money and that money does not come from where we think it comes and it is dirty money," he concluded.
Given these statements, some users agreed with her on the issue of health and prices, although there are also others who expressed their disagreement with the issue of Miami food, commenting that it is good and varied.
