Cuban Alexander Capote, one of the contestants on the U.S. TV show "Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento," not only impressed the judges with his performance but also received a beautiful compliment from one of the panel members, Mexican singer Ana Bárbara, who told him: "You have the best voice of the season."
His performance, published this Tuesday on the Facebook page of "Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento", shows the Cuban artist nicknamed "El Grande", who resides in Tampa, Florida, in a memorable interpretation.
Capote, possessor of a powerful vocal range, received recognition from the jury for his impressive interpretation of the song "Cuando yo quería ser grande" by the composer Manuel Vaca Flores, a song very well-remembered in the voice of Vicente Fernández.
At the end of his performance during the quarter-finals, not only was he given a standing ovation by the audience and the judges, but all the judges showered him with praise.
Ana Bárbara said that he has one of the best voices of the season, pointing him out as a possible winner.
Don Cheto told him: "You will have a very good grade from me", wishing him good luck for the rest of the program.
On the other hand, the music producer Pepe Garza considered that her voice is spectacular, although he advised her to enjoy her performance more, especially to "relax more."
Likewise, the singer Diana Reyes commented: "You have an impressive power. It's the first time I see you, and you impressed me a lot."
Capote explained that being on the show "Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento" is a dream come true, noting that since he lived in Cuba, he promised himself that one day he would be one of the participants.
"I want everyone who is watching me in Cuba through the weekly package to feel motivated," he commented, pointing out that he had promised his loved ones that, in this way, someday they would see him on a television program.
However, Capote only lamented not having his wife with him at the time of the performance, acknowledging that he has relied on her support and companionship since they lived in Cuba.
"The first time I was on stage, I didn't even realize the judges stood up," the Cuban commented, remembering his performance in the eliminations when he performed the salsa "Que alguien me diga" by composer Omar Alfanno.
Before Capote, other Cubans have also participated in the US television program, receiving applause and success.
Manuel and Llenay's marriage, residents of Miami and 25 and 24 years old respectively, impressed with their flag-raising ceremony.
Before the presentation, the young people said they felt very excited and emphasized that the performance would surprise the audience and the jury, according to the YouTube channel of the TV show.
On the other hand, Giraldo Morelio, a rafter who arrived in the United States leaving behind a daughter in Cuba, captivated the judges of the show "Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento" with his emotional story and voice, leading them to allow him to continue on his journey in that reality show.
The young man, a resident of Orlando, Florida, chose the song "O me voy o te vas" by Marco Antonio Solís for his performance in early April, as shared by the talent show on its Facebook page.
