Daniela Reyes: "The Cuba of my dreams is one where we do not feel the need to emigrate."

Like many Cubans, Daniela Reyes has experienced firsthand the need to seek better opportunities and living conditions outside of her country.

In a recent interview for Fonoma Talks, the influencer was asked about the Cuba of her dreams, and her response could well be that of many young Cubans.

"The Cuba of my dreams is a Cuba where Cubans do not feel the need to emigrate to achieve our goals, to prosper," said the influencer.

For Daniela, the Cuba of her dreams is a place where everyone can meet their needs: "A Cuba where the needs of Cubans are respected and prioritized."

However, the Cuban YouTuber is aware that this aspiration is far from the reality that is currently being lived within the island.

"The Cuba of my dreams is a new Cuba, and hopefully I will be lucky enough to experience it," he added in the interview.

A few weeks ago, Daniela had just arrived on the island from Cancun and was greeted by a 10-hour blackout. "It's very sad what is happening in my country," she stated at that moment.
