In that same ephemeral section of Instagram, the reggaeton artist's partner, Daniela Reyes, also referred to the blackouts.

"A country without electricity, without signal to make calls, and without internet! Without cultural activities, without educational activities, with work not functioning, and in the dark, how sad. What is this? It's very sad to go out into the streets and see all the people sitting on the sidewalks, waiting for nothing," wrote Daniela.

Several artists in exile in Miami have also referred to this unsustainable situation for Cuban families.

The Goddess said in a video on Instagram that Cubans are being killed little by little while alive and that their only option is to end the prevailing system on the island.

Willy Chirino, Alexander Delgado, and Leoni Torres also joined in from social media with messages of solidarity with the Cuban people demanding an end to the dictatorship.

In the vast majority of the country, they have been without electricity for over 36 consecutive hours. On Friday, the National Electric System collapsed, and again this Saturday morning, all provinces, including Havana, were left without electricity.
