The United States Embassy in Cuba has a new service to help visa applicants avoid delays in their immigration proceedings due to missing documents or errors in them.

This service involves the review of documents prior to the visa application appointment, with the aim of ensuring that all requirements are complete. Applicants must go to the Embassy, by appointment, at least three days before their scheduled visa application date.

To coordinate this review, applicants must contact the staff in charge at the Calzada and K Park, or they can email visashavana@state.gov, specifying "A88 - Document Review" in the subject line.

The Embassy has two main offices in charge of migration cases. The first one is the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), which handles humanitarian parole cases, parole beneficiaries, refugees, and asylees.

The second one is the Consular Section, part of the Department of State, responsible for immigrant visa applications and family petitions.

This initiative by the diplomatic headquarters aims to streamline migration processes and ensure that applicants have all the necessary documentation, thus reducing the chances of delays and complications in their procedures.

If you need to know details about your documents and ensure that your immigration case progresses smoothly, take advantage of this new service offered by the United States Embassy in Havana.
