"The hug that restarted my soul": Cuban sisters reunite on the island after more than five years without seeing each other

After several years longing to see each other, two Cuban sisters made the dream of hugging again a reality.

It was the user @natyfragoso0 who shared a video on social media of the moment when, upon arriving on the island, she walks out of the airport and embraces her sister who was waiting for her arrival.

"The hug that restarted my soul," he wrote on TikTok alongside the video of the poignant reunion after five years and seven months without seeing each other.

"What happiness, my heart melts with these videos," "Wow, I die for that hug from my sister"; "I want a hug like that after 13 years without going to Cuba that resets my soul," were some of the comments that the family reunion and the prolonged hug have provoked on the platform.
