This Thursday, a fire broke out at Marc Anthony's mansion in the Casa de Campo Resort, Dominican Republic.
On its official Instagram account, El Gordo y La Flaca shared images of the moment when firefighters were trying to control the fire.
In the video, one can see the intense flames consuming the area and columns of smoke rising.
So far, the causes of the fire are unknown and it is unclear if there are any injured persons.
In this mansion, Marc and his wife Nadia Ferreira usually spend their vacation time enjoying the tranquility of the place, especially since they were expecting their child.
Marc Anthony acquired this villa in 2014 after marrying the Venezuelan Shannon de Lima.
According to People en Español, the property exudes luxury and “features a main house, multiple pavilions, bungalows, and cabins to accommodate guests; an artificial beach, and luxurious rooms and bathrooms.”
On one occasion, the American salsa singer said that he "wanted a beach free of paparazzi," which is why he acquired this villa.
In 2019, another property of the singer suffered a similar fate; his luxurious yacht burned in flames in Miami, a vessel valued at seven million dollars.
