Cuban in Spain: "In order to live and support myself, I had to learn many new things."

Currently, he/she is grateful to have a job that allows him/her to support himself/herself without having to ask anyone for help.

A young Cuban woman living in Spain shared a new video on TikTok where she talks about her experience in the European country.

In her account, Lisi -@lisandrita95 on the network- referred to how she is experiencing the "Spanish dream" and highlighted both the challenges and the blessings she has encountered on her journey, always noting that she speaks of her dream, not "anyone else's, because for each person it is different."

One of the main topics that Lisi touched on in her video was the difficulty of finding work upon arriving in Spain, although "nowadays I can't complain, because thanks to God I am working, which allows me to support myself and also allows me to live without asking anything from anyone else."

He also referred to the little patience some people have to teach those who are starting out as something that shocked him: "I know that no one has to know about my life, nor do I have to be talking about it, but have you never had to start over for the first time, have you never had to learn something from scratch for the first time?" this young Cuban woman asked, explaining that, although she had a university degree in Cuba, she has had to learn many new things.

"Nowadays I am not practicing it, so in order to live and sustain myself, I had to learn many new things," she said in her video, where she also shared anecdotes about how she has developed new skills and knowledge, such as preparing mojitos and sangrias, something she previously only enjoyed as a consumer in Cuba.

Despite the initial challenges, Lisi has found a community of people who support her: "I have a bunch of acquaintances that I care for deeply, and I hope they don't get angry if they see this video, because I love them all so much."

Before this video, Lisi had shared another about the unpleasant experience she had in her first job.

It also mentioned the cultural shock that took him by surprise when he arrived.
