This weekend, several artists from the Cuban urban genre are invited to the end of summer event in Varadero, one of them is El Micha.
The veteran reggaeton artist traveled from Miami to the island and, despite the criticism he has received for his repeated visits to his homeland, took to the stage again to sing for his audience on Friday at the Brisas del Caribe Hotel.
In his Instagram stories, the singer shared numerous videos that internet users uploaded to social media after the concert.
El Micha got the audience dancing and singing with the songs from his repertoire that have made history within Cuban reggaeton.
He also interpreted some of the musical collaborations with artists like Lenier Mesa, Jacob Forever, Yomil Hidalgo, among others.
"Gerente," a song released in 2007, was sung in unison by all those present.
"The things that are real do not get lost along the way," wrote El Micha after the concert in which he felt the warmth and affection of the Cuban audience.
He promised and he delivered; the reggaeton artist said he would return to sing in Cuba, and he has done so, turning his back on the criticisms and questioning from a large part of the Cuban community in Miami.
