A mannequin displayed in a store on Obispo Street in Havana has sparked mockery on social media.
The Tiendas Caribe Habana Vieja profile on Facebook shared an image of a quirky mannequin with an egg-shaped head and a white cap, accompanied by a message aimed at women, offering "options to look more beautiful."
The publication actually aims to promote a range of hair dye offers in various colors, with a complete kit that includes 10, 20, and 30 volume peroxide and bleaching powder available in both jar and sachet formats.
Next to the strange mannequin, the profile shared a no less ironic promotion: “From Obispo to look more beautiful.”
The influencer Edmundo Dantés Junior shared an image on Facebook with an ironic message: “Deep in the sea, far from the sun, lived a little fish that had no color,” referencing a popular children's animated show about a fish searching for colors for its tail.
He also added, “They suffer from mannequins from Camagüey,” referring to the controversial mannequins displayed in a store in that province in July, which sparked a wave of ridicule on social media.
On other occasions, the "creativity" in advertisements has sparked countless comments and memes on social media.
In 2023, some of the initiatives by the regime to celebrate the birthday of dictator Fidel Castro through its workplaces became a subject of mockery.
One of these proposals took place at the commercial unit "El Billarista," part of the Caribe store chain in Villa Clara.
