A Cuban TikToker living in Jacksonville shared some valuable tips on social media about how to apply for and get a job at the renowned warehouse chain Costco for those residing in the United States.
In her video, Gretter (@gretter___) explained step by step the online application process, detailing each of the stages and providing key recommendations to increase the chances of being hired.
The influencer started by explaining how to access Costco's official website, where applicants can search for available job openings based on their location.
Once on the page, it is important to read about the careers and values of Costco, as well as to verify the specific requirements for each state.
Then, interested parties must select the option "Apply now," where they will be redirected to an external page to complete their application.
During the explanation, the tiktoker emphasized the importance of registering a user and completing the application with all the required personal information.
He emphasized that it is essential to fill in all the fields before submitting the application, as the application cannot be sent without being complete.
A crucial point he mentioned is that in many states, like Florida, jobs at Costco largely depend on referrals.
That's why, in addition to the online application, he recommended searching on sites like Indeed and, later, personally visiting the nearest Costco store to speak directly with the hiring manager.
This person in charge of hiring is the one who can help move the process forward, especially if the applicant doesn't have anyone to refer them from the inside.
In addition, the TikToker emphasized that perseverance and a direct presentation to the hiring manager are fundamental steps to increase the chances of being considered for a position at Costco.
"When you are speaking to the hiring person, you tell them that you submitted your application online, show them your application, leave them the summary, and ask how long it takes to get a response," he advised.

Teresa recalled that her first job was taking care of a lady for 11 days, and although many rejected the job due to the tasks it involved, she chose to accept it.
In recent days, the Cuban TikTok user known as @m_a_r_i_l_e_y shared a video in which she answers one of the most frequently asked questions from her audience: "Can you find work outside of Miami?"
Mari, who lives in Port Charlotte, Florida, took the opportunity to talk about her experience in this city, highlighting that, although she is not directly involved in the in-person job market due to her work as a health insurance agent, she assures that "there is always work to be found."
